To celebrate International Storytelling Week, which took place between 31 January and 8 February, we decided to spoil you with a collection of short stories delivered by one of our storytellers. All of these stories explore the theme for our upcoming 2026 Village Storytelling Festival – ‘Voices of Change’.The festival

With a format described as unique, visionary and ground-breaking, Village Storytelling Festival will explore the theme ‘Voices of Change’ this year, retaining its focus
Enjoy an evening of stories and music to celebrate love in all its forms with professional and community performers from Pollok and Glasgow. We will also have an open mic if you want to share a wee poem, story or song.
Following three years of successful programme, VSC is delighted to offer again an opportunity for three Emerging Voices in Storytelling to take part in a fully paid, 12-week placement. They will work collaboratively and independently to develop their own performance skills and to find their authentic voice with ample opportunity
