Emerging Voices in Storytelling

The Village Storytelling Centre’s Emerging Voices in Storytelling programme comes to a close once more with three new voices ready to share their stories. Ruby Daley, Israa Abdelrahman and Astrid Allen will offer tales from the personal to the folkloric, from comic to tragic and from Glasgow to across the globe.

Emerging Voices in Storytelling is our flagship training programme, designed and delivered to support new and inspiring voices that are underrepresented in the world of storytelling. Our 12-week programme, delivered by Artform Development Lead Daniel Serridge provides an intensive introduction to the artform, supporting emerging artists with the opportunity and space to train, shadow, network and practice this ancient craft in contemporary settings.
