A girl faces a dragon. Songs and stories are her weapons and her armour. Join storyteller Daiva Ivanauskaitė-Brown for a magical tale about courage, friendship and dreams of a peaceful and green future. This performance brings together tales and tunes from Lithuania and Scotland with live music from Gaynor Barradell for all the family to enjoy.
After the performance the audience will be welcomed to play and draw on the sparkling sensory walls creating images from the story and their own dreams.
This performance was developed with the support from the Scottish International Storytelling Festival and the Village Storytelling Centre.
Dragon Tale has had successful runs in Edinburgh at the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2024 and 2025, Edinburgh Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Glasgow primary schools and Wigtown Books Festival Fringe.
